The Cardshark Process

The Franchisee

The Franchisee develops and maintains business through ongoing liaison with prospects and customers. The design and preparation of artwork for a client's approval precedes online ordering & emailing of print ready Business Cards to the Cardshark Head Office in Midrand.

Finished business cards will be couriered direct to the Franchisee or to the client, at the discretion of the Franchisee. The entire process from placing the order takes a maximum of 7 working days.

Each Franchisee contributes R275 per month towards a national advertising program.

The Franchisor

The Franchisor is responsible for printing and delivery of finished Business Cards.
All business cards are processed at our Midrand factory using world class, technology, equipment and materials.

Cardshark business cards are printed on a 300gsm triple coated imported art board with optional UV Varnish finish.

The Franchisor assists the Franchisees marketing efforts through various mechanisms including:

  • The Cardshark Website www.cardshark.co.za
  • Yellow Pages “Online” and “Hardcopy” business directories.
  • Joint Venture Initiatives with the radio stations and national print media.
  • Printed marketing material provided free or at minimal cost.
  • Ongoing networking of ideas between Franchisees

Market Strength
The business card market is enormously powerful with many thousands of sets of business cards being ordered daily in South Africa.
Most printing concerns find the printing and supply of business cards an inconvenience, proven by the fact that 5 of our franchises are in fact commercial printers. They would rather have us print their cards than do it themselves.

Product Versatility
Other card products designed and marketed by the Franchisee include postcards, greeting cards and tent calendars. All of which are offered at prices that are very competitive in the marketplace. We also do scoring and drilling.

Networking Opportunities
Many Cardshark Franchisees provide a variety of services to their ever-growing database of customers. These unique offerings are sometimes very effectively channelled through the Franchisee network.

Low Capital Investment
Investing in a Cardshark Franchise will not guarantee your success. It will however ensure that should you fail, you will almost certainly recoup your initial investment and probably even more. The Franchise Fee payable will depend on the assumed viability in the area ranging from R49,000 - R120,000 including training. A powerful computer or laptop with necessary software and peripherals will cost in the region of R5,000 to R10,000
